Looking at my circus mirror the image of a clown fighting of those tattooed tears I kept changing my direction but those angles of deception kept leading me astray every day Became a tamer of the lions ruthless in my ways I got locked up in a cage when nobody came to let me out I've been riding all day on this lonely circus train and I don't know where I am or how I got here Every town looks just the same when you're caught up in this game and delusion is my only salvation All these strangers gathered in disguise Casting ghostly shadows on my eyes Then the wind came pounding on my window a beat that I could dance to and the wind howled a strange melody Now I'm yearning for protection from all the lights reflection I wait for sunny skies to cover my eyes tonight I'm still hiding these obsessions and coughing up confessions laid out like fallacy I want to believe will set me free
